Welcome! My name is Manveer, and I am a second-year MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering student at the University of Manitoba. My current research area is power converter design and control for electric vehicle applications, in collaboration with Magna International. I am fortunate enough to have received an NSERC Canada Graduate Research Scholarship (CGRS-M) to support my work.

I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, where I completed a BASc in Electrical Engineering (Honours, Co-op) with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Windsor. In Windsor, I worked in the CHARGE Lab as a research assistant and completed co-op terms at Nokia, Ford Motor Company, and Stellantis.

I'm broadly interested in power electronic converters, multilevel converters, motor drives, EV charging, magnetics, and piezoelectric power conversion. I am also very passionate about teaching and engineering education.

I am looking for PhD positions in power electronics starting in Fall 2027. Feel free to reach out by email!
